No not yet, however I do try an keep up to date on the latest developments in this saga, so my best guess is that we shall start to see progress around the same time as we win the grand final.

| Personally, i would think it would be difficult, logistically, for any work to be done on the stadium while the season is ongoing, and were playing there.
Also, are there any funds in place as yet, to even start any work?

I’d say it would be difficult to do any work until we have some money! Which I think is the point PB is making.

| We seem to have been stuffed! I think that's the message reading between the lines.
That said, MC and Co. at the club must have believed purchasing the ground as the best option and must surely have thoughts as to how rebuilding can be financed.
MC has been the club's saviour for a number of years now and I trust his judgement.

Is she any better to listen to than that Gale Lofthouse. Her awful accent and Witch-like cackle goes right through me if I accidently tune in on the way home from work.

No we've not been stuffed, well we have over all but not on this individual decision.
Taken by itself, it just had to happen.
In pure RL terms we needed to own the ground or eventually we would become some broken nomad club like Oldham. A crap ground is still better than no ground.
In a business sense paying rent on a dump was a no brainer, it was a total waste of money. At least paying money over 15 years in the knowledge that you will eventually own it and thus have an asset makes total sense to me.
To quote Churchill "This is not the end; it is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
Nobody in their right mind can claim we have won a victory or that justice has been done, or not yet anyway.
Yet we simply had to do something or die. At least now we have a rallying point, a positive of sorts, something tangible that we can plan for, raise money for, care about, and dream about eventually feeling proud of.
We now all need to turn our energies into supporting the club in whatever they decide to do. Just look at Featherstone if you don't think its possible, the fans there made a huge difference and there are less of them than us.
Up the Trin.

sorry
I did hear once of someone who tied himself to a rope that was attached to his car on the other side of his house while he did some work, his wife decided to go to shop and proceeded to drag him off unknown what he had done

Well, I agree with this Vasty, perhaps now that we own the ground there may be some sort of fund raising effort?
I think lots of supporters would be willing to support such, I would for one. I'm aware that a car boot sale won't do it every bit would help.

| With the announcement of the new sponsors, if this is a much bigger deal than the one we had in place, surely this could help towards some of the funding of the re development of BV
