Good game of old fashioned rugby league. Hull didnt look threatening at all with the ball and if Anthony England was still available I reckon we'd of skimmed it.

Thought he had a decent game myself.

Lost the game but, plenty of positives to take away.
Again, errors cost us the game and with anything close to an even share of possession we would have won.
Hull went with a very basic game plan and it looked like they were going to come unstuck.
Pity about the knock on from the bomb but, more to be happy about than to be disappointed about.

I thought Kirmond was as good as conditions allowed a forward of his size. Damn site more reliable than butter fingers Arona. Another crucial mistake by BJB was the difference between win and loss for me.

Disappointed but not disheartened I thought we tackled well and lasted the full 80 mins. Only difference was Hull had more kick able penalties. Arona had his best game in a Wakefield shirt .

Excellent energy to say we were a forward down for 75 mins. Lacked the quality to punish their mistakes. Good effort overall. This is definitely one that got away.
