Exactly, mate.
Who do you think organised the panel? Answer: The RFL, whom we have in our pockets. Ergo, us and we filled the majority with ex-Wigan players.
I kid, but seriously did you ever think the RFL were going to let Wigan be without their captain and talisman for a semi? They need us at Wembley to sell seats and to generate interest in the general public. |

Wigan have sold out their allocations for the last four finals we've attended and we're the biggest draw to the greater national casual audience. Nobody in London's going to look at Wakey/Cas/Hull KR playing in the final and decide to spend the afternoon watching it.
If a two tier SL means Wigan (who got 11821 watching you men) don't get dragged down to your level, then I'm all for it. I'm sick of teams that struggled for 50 years to build a roof on their ground spoil my enjoyment of the greatest game. I want to watch quality. |
