Best draw we could have hoped for; Wire are a talented team, but they're scratchy and we've already beaten them. There is every possibility they could pull our pants down of course, but they look vulnerable at times - way more so than Hull or Wigan, who appear to be getting back to their best.

My view on this is simple. If we are good enough and we get our fair share of luck then I'd love us to go all the way and perhaps even win it - that has to be the ambition of every fan and every player.

However there is a more long term aspect to this and that's team building for the future.

The worst scenario is that we get an amazing but freek result against a better team only to get to Wembley and crash and burn - like HKR did. I'd much rather NOT go than that happen as I feel it would send this club bacwards at a rate of knotts and the chances of keeping your Johnstones and Jowitts would be hugely diminished. I want us to go as far as we are genuinly capable and no more - I don't want to catch Warrington on a bad day I want to beat them because we were the better team - subtle differeence I know.

What I want is the players to be honest and accept that if they do get us to Wembley it's a comitment. Not a comitment to win but a comitment to perform and above all not capitulate on the big day - it's all or nothing for me. I know it's a cliche and it's easy to say sat in the stands but it's bodies on the line and blood run to water anything less will not be acceptable for me. If any of the players are not ready for that then the semi-final is the time to show it.

If we get beaten in the semis or get beaten despite our best efforts by a better side in a final I can live with that and hold my head up high. In fact we can all hold our heads up high as a club, players and fans already as we have exceeded all expectation even now. What I would hate is walking away from a CCup final knowing that we were out of our depth and never should have been there to start with every pundit in the land saying they told you so. Only the players - not the coach - not the fans can decide if that happens or not.

I do. I think RL fans constantly over estimate. We will take 4000 at best and Warrington maybe 6000 that will still leave 2000 vacant seats.

Friday night I would probably agree with you, but Saturday afternoon can't see it anything but a near sell out.
