Interesting line up, I think that even though Miller hasn't been great recently he is surely more likely to offer somehting at half-back than Sio?
I think I'd be going more like this (which probably explains why I'm not the coach )
Jowitt

Arundel
Gibson
Johnstone
Miller

That's the whole point amigo, I don't know much about the situation at all but I'd like to know more. However oh mighty one, before any of us nobodies can take your word for it we need some explanation as to how you came by it. Or are you so up yourself that you actually believe that Uptoncat (whoever that is) should just be believed.
As it happens what you have posted mkes some sence to me. However if you don't feel the need to explain yourself further and just intend to write comandments like Moses might I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself. We can agree to disagree but it's not going to be much of a forum if we all just post what we think and then refuse to back it up, or am I missing something here?
You don't need to name names just a rough idea, that's all I'm asking for.
Thanks

| Just to be pedantic, and you know how I love to be so...........Moses didn't write the commandments, he just delivered the message given to him by the big G.

| Allegedly!
Maybe Uptoncat can throw some "light" on that as well.

| Miller is a poor halfback, but if there is one game to play him in, it's tonight, our ex players always do well against us.

Some people might argue that it's much more likely that he did write them...
For what it's worth, I've heard (from a very reliable source) similar stories re BS; also, that his man management techniques were... interesting; he apparently lost the players as a group through his treatment of some individuals - individuals who the rest of the group respected and looked up to.
I'm not for pandering to player power, but it's important when managing a team to understand the dynamic that exists within it - maybe he didn't want to/wasn't able to? And as much as player power should be resisted, so should manager power - it doesn't do to come in relatively new to an organisation and expect to bend it to your will through force of personality and the wielding of power - you sort of have to earn the right, not least by setting out a strategy, helping people understand what you want to change and why, and making sure they're invested in your changes as you go along.

| If the story on Smith is true then I'm inclined to say he wasn't at the right place.
I still like him and think he's a good coach and should be respected but you have to know and appreciate the area you are working in. I'm not sure he did.
It would have been better if Cater had never convinced him to come back this year. Smith said it was short term and shouldn't have changed his mind.
On tonight's game, and there after, it will be interesting to see how the same players who aren't quite performing come out and play now.
I don't think we'll see a massive change tonight, though Miller seems to play his best against Hull, but once Chester starts working in earnest I hope to see good things happening.

If we're going to be really pedantic
The tablets of stone aledgedly written on by God were thrown down and broken by Moses when he saw the Isrealites worshiping a false God.
The Ten Commandments were then written onto new tablets of stone by someone, probably not Moses but at least supervised by him.

I'm sure Wally Lewis passed the tablets 50 yards like a tracer bullet at the bottom of Mount Sinai.
I'm enjoying this religious debate, praise be to you all...

| Sounds like the usual story, too many penalties and too much dropped ball.
