| Keinhorst originally got fended off but recovered to catch Ah Van. It's being fended off that KK is referring to but sometimes you should give credit to the player producing the fend, especially as JK didn't have a lot of time to react.

It's because Collis is/was pretty much a second rate centre in the NRL and would struggle to get a starting place in most teams (especially the leading ones), injury prone or not.

| Quote: chissitt "You tell me squire, By your own admission it was a bad pass from Timmy and you try to justify criticism of Keinhorst when really there is none by back tracking, going from a poor effort to brushes off a weak effort, perhaps he should have anticipated the interception. clearly its you what seems to have the issue here not me. If you don't rate him fair do's but don't just knock him for the sake of it, oh and I do know its a forum before you remind me.'"
Apologies my definition of poor and weak are broadly the same.
The pass was meant for Owen, Keinhorst was a metre or two back from where the intercept took place. He was in a perfect position to effect a tackle and had time to react yet missed. The lad did great to chase back and redeem himself and I’ve said he’s done ok in the two games he’s managed to finish but that I wouldn’t afford him a contract based on those two appearances.

He went high and got brushed aside. He did great to track back and make the try saving tackle. I've always said that.

| Just like to add my plaudits to this....tackle of the season for me, and definitely was the game changer. I have to admit I was too busy watching Jimmy to notice Lyne and Moore tracking back too, but it was a fantastic effort all round.

My view is we were on the attack Jimmy was running in as part of the attack Ah Van got the ball clean side stepped Jimmy who was running at pace slipped the tackle and off he went, not many would gave turned around and chased him down like he did, just my perspective that's a little different to yours

| Think you're been a little harsh, JK was not really in a good position to make the first tackle as he had over run the play slightly in anticipation of receiving the pass. If anything this makes his chase back even better.
Unlucky with injuries, but was happy when we got him and would be happy with his signature on a permanent basis. Young, British and his best years ahead of him.
Think there is going to be a bit of a turnover of players at the end of the season. Some ridiculous contracts coming to an end, just hope we retain the right ones at the right price!
Rumoured to be 2 or 3 new players signed up already, so some are going to have to go.

Yep...part of the legendary Keinhorst family from Batley......I knew his Great Uncle- Baron Felix Von Keinhorst - he used to be the Rag and Bone man down our street in the 1970's.
As British as they come !!!!!!

| Keinhorst carries on playing like he is doing now to the end of the season then Wakefield should sign him. Great chase back showing real pace. Ah Van clearly does not have the pace for wing at SL level though.
Walshaw needs to be signed ASAP also (but both at the right price) as he was playing really well in the centres before injury.

| When Keinhorst came to us there was some discussion whether he was back row or centre.
Too small for the pack, too slow for centre.
I think from his last lay off he seems to have trimmed down and has been give a specific position as centre and put a bit of pace on.

| Was it Keinhorst's pace or Ah Van's lack of ? Bit of both me thinks.
