Instead of repeating yourself constantly try and understand people are having an opinion.
Its a forum, its what its for. If you don't like it don't look.
The irony is, you are moaning about people (in your [iopinion[/i) moaning.

| Correct I am moaning, about the fact that there always seems to be a negative thread, people are entitled to their opinion, I'm just airing mine too, I knew as soon as I posted i would get this sort of reply, just because I'm not part of the forum or the merry band of misery that seems to surround this place!

| When did rugby league become a family sport? I seem to recall someone telling me that it was a marketing ploy in the 70s due to the goings on in football at the time.
Not looking for an argument, just wondering

| Thought atmosphere was abit subdued in the north stand until last quarter, I think multiple things affected the attendance, rain , skymatch, big weekend of sport and I know we shouldn't rely on away support but that was the worse leeds have brought for aslong as I can remember.

| Quote RealSteel89="RealSteel89"Theres no banter in singing "if you really ******* hate em clap your hands" Thats just vile language and not fit for an area were children are present. If you do not understand this you obviously have an issue. Yes i understand there is swearing at a rugby league game, but when a few hundred people are singing it together thats completely different. Kids like to get involved in the chants and if they start copying that its obviously not good. The northstanders are nothing short of brilliant at times. But spoil it at other times.'"
I am not saying it's right but if you think kids in this day and age don't hear language like that in other places, then I would suggest that you also have an issue. My wife teaches in a primary school some of things she tells me the kids say they have learnt at home is appalling.

| I agree with the OP - it's great when the Northstanders sing and support the team in a positive way, but I'm not enamoured with the abusive and sweary chants - it's not banter and it's only 'a bit of fun' if you haven't got kids with you or aren't offended by that kind of language. If you are, it's an imposition on your enjoyment of the game and it doesn't paint the club in a very positive light.

| Would hope the choir can put together a nice tribute chant for Phil Clarke, in readiness for Thursday night's game, following his support last Friday. Containing the words Please, Please, Please would be good.
