i know what you mean, i was a bit worried you might think it was a wind up but thats his name. just co-incidence i suppose as he would have been christened before the aussie became famous. he has a real pedigree on both sides.

| I used to live next door to Dan Smith and his younger brother, i remember him outside playing rugby from a young age, the last time i saw him he was about 8 years old, it was weird seeing him on tv the other night. Tony smith is his uncle i believe who also lived on the same street around the time he was playing for cas.

I seem to think we had signed Dan Smith before Kath came on board but I could be wrong.
Whatever the case, he has proved a real find so far and looks like he is only going to get better.

| Cameron's a great prospect, he has size ,speed and is a great ball handler. He needs to watch his weight as he's prone to putting it on but at the moment he's fit as he's ever been and looks all the better for it.
He's Year 10 or Under 15s whichever you prefer

| Smith has been excellent for me best forward of season along with tautai
tbh cannot believe the quality of squad we have managed to assemble on what I assume is a lesser budget than last year
Man for man it looks a better squad than we had last year the loss of poore, amor smith smith aiton suddenly don't look such a big deal our half backs and hooker look like they are a major step forward.
Cant wait to see a true test of progress with what should be pretty much a full strength squad against saints.
As I cant get to every game this season (although I haven't missed one yet) am going to invest in two legends offer as long as it keeps going for every home game that I can get to
Congratulations Mr Carter amazing job - hope the fans turn out and pay there money to balance the books

The only one I see as one we miss is Amor but as stated Smith seems a great consolation.
And yes I to am stunned at the quality - just hope the do gell as a team - if that happens we have something special.

Whilst he might not have the same impact as Amor, I actually think Lee Smith would have rounded this team off nicely. With him in the left centre spot our three quarters would look a lot more solid in my opinion.

| Then again we swopped Smith for Sammut and cut costs. Was that not a good deal then?

Of course it was a good deal. I was merely speculating that Lee Smith would have fitted slotted well in this side, alongside Sammut not instead of, in response to the poster who said the only one we miss is Amor.
