If Mathers had been at FB last night and made the mistakes Smith made in the first half, there would have been a thread dedicated to it within minutes.
I didn't notice Lyne.

Thought Lyne was poor. He had glue on his hands so they knew they could tackle him and leave the wing. A passing centre can be less of a runner if the defense is confused.

Mellars I was happy with. When he came on his job was to tackle. He did that pretty well.

Mellars has had tons of opportunities, I saw no spark from him as per usual. To be competitive higher up the table we need better than solid. Lyne has been here since the start of the season, although he was insignificant last night we can't write him off just yet.

Lee Smith had a stinker and he will know that, the ipitch has a lot to answer for though. It's not surprising to see Widnes have good home form.

Seriously - you should give up watching the game if you believe that. Try of the season for me - won the game and would have had everyone gushing in eulogies had it been Hock doing that!

Lyne doesn't seem to believe in himself, instead of backing his self he choses to go inside and if the stuff we've been told about his pace then I believe he'd take some catching if he had abit of space.

I have been very critical of Mellars but in all fairness the last few games he has played well in my opinion. Infact the guy who dosn't seem to be doing that much at the moment is Ali.

As far as some of you not seeing much of Lynn didn't you realise he was taken off about half way and never came back.

Next week Mellars to start at centre and lynn dropped I hope.

I noticed he Lynne was taken off and think it was a good call by Agar. Lynne is not backing himself at all and the skip inside and occasional stand still and waffle with the ball is doing him no favours.
