| Quote asmadasa="asmadasa"The team now needs to be picked on form as I suspect it has been picked on reputation or to extent contract size to date. Those that haven't performed based on stats & key chances missed (or mistakes made) need to be dropped.
Get the players fit before they go on the field (Lauitiiti today?).
R.A. next week please give Lucas Walshaw (if fit) and Matt James a go who are local lads and have some size to compete against the opposition (I know James was suspended today). Try something different. If the fans see some creativity to try break the cycle there won't be as much frustration.'"
Did Danny Kirmond play?

| The 1st score of the 2nd half was always gonna be crucial. Washbrooke's penalty for stealing the ball on the Wire 20m line + another 10m for back chat was the gamebreaking moment for me.

It looked like Fox had spent his time off at the Damien Blanch school of wing defence.

| I thought we went ok 1st half we managed to pull Warrington down to our level.
Fox had a mare of a start, was at fault for both first half tries, and lost us possession with a stupid pass on the first tackle from twenty metre restart.
I don’t recall either team making a clean break until well into the second half, most of the metres made were from penalties.
Much better from Southern, pack too lightweight, therefore halves ineffective, however, Timmy’s ball-back kick was a shocker, it wasn’t as if it was a forty twenty attempt.

Yes. Plus the break from Mariano where the ball was dropped at 12-18. Score then under the sticks and it's game on. I thought Washbrook was unlucky but didn't have a great view of it.

Washbrook was conned. He couldn't get his arm out of the tackle.

No, the ref was conned. Washbrooke was stupid then gobby. Either way, as per the Hull KR game, he handed the initiative to the opposition and we then capitulated.

| Lad went today said they didnt do to bad first half -60 mins.Didnt go myself listned to it on radio said on Mathers dissallowed try didnt see anything wrong and thought Collis had scored.Cant see me going again while Agar is in charge and thats something I have never said with any other coach at BV.The reason I didnt buy a season ticket was I thought this might happen even though i was in the give him a chance camp.Agar needs to stop giving cheap talk and start kicking backsides.

I was, and still are, in the "Please not Agar" camp but I'm still going. We always knew we have to hit rock bottom before we can start afresh without Agar. This means we will suffer many more defeats and really needs Cas, London and Widnes to start winning before we can see light at the end of the tunnel.
We can still savour the odd win here and there even if they do delay and interfere with the best long term interests of the club.

| Quote PopTart="PopTart"I don't see this game as falling away badly.
We (Smith) made a couple of mistakes that gave them a roll on, and we tried to chase the game and gave an interception.
We competed with a team that is far better technically and physically than us. We couldn't keep it up because they played more freely on the back of our mistakes.
Fall away means we gave up. I didn't see that. I saw fatigue from tackling bigger players and letting tries in out wide when getting drawn in tackling players that would have bust us if we didn't.
We weren't great at times but we weren't terrible either. And at times we looked like we had a chance.
I'm tempted to say we drop Smith but I'm not sure our options are better without. He does run the plays well, but he made too many mistakes today for it not to be a consideration. Disappointing because I thought he started well.'"
Largely we lost because of the many unforced errosr we made, leading to far too much time/energy in the 1st half defending our line. When we held the ball and kicked decently I thought we looked like we had the measure of them...but the fall away looked like fatigue to me as a result of time spent tackling 1st half. This is like every game, just about, this season. We are not learning anything and every match is Groundhog Day. Is it the players? Is it the coach? Is it both? I don't know for sure but it is getting very hard to watch. And tediously predictable
