Does anyone else think it should have been called off with the ground being covered in snow?

They shoulf of called it off a midday before any of the fans set off, it was snowing heavy there then, plus they only cleared half the pitch before the came, surely that isn't right?
If it hadn't of been on sky that game would have been postponed for sure, Sky calling the shots and the RFL jumping through hoops

Say you then had a convoy of 100 cars optimistically containing 4 people each - that is 400.

Say 200 went by other means that makes 1000 and I reckon that is generous.

That stand holds i think around 2500 and i think you would struggle to get another 1000 or so in there,

Richard Wright said there were around 1800 there, i reckon around 1500, still a cracking attendance given the condtitions,

There wouldn't be any debate if you lot could just stick to reality, a 1000 is hardly bad. I honestly can't see how that picture proves anything, it's just a black hole with some snow to make it even more impossible to tell.

1800 was Mr Wrights estimation, so divide by 2 and wait a few years and see what happens !
They did well to stage the game at all and as mentioned in the thread, had it not been a sky game it would probably have been called off.

Fortunately, the 'Casforum' is like a semi-secure day centre for the most 'eccentric' of Castleford's fans (and sponsors) and as such, doesn't represent the majority of their decent and more mentally stable supporters.
