To be fair, if it wasn't for franchising we would have been able to sign players sooner to prepare our team to fight to stop finishing bottom. In the old world finishing bottom would have been a disaster. We are bottom now for two reasons 1. Administration 2. Franchising scaring players away from signing for us.

I have my pride and don't want to finish bottom, however in perspective we can excuse it due to mitigating circumstances.

The fact that those two words can be used as an excuse in a sporting context and yet make sense, tells you everything that is wrong with the game.

I agree and no one wants to finish bottom like you said. If P&R was still in place, it certainly would be squeky bum time, but as seen in the past, clubs have tried to buy themselves out of trouble which in turn means spending money you don't have. At least you haven't needed to do that and can start afresh next year.

But we are not the worst team in Super League. That is Quins, for the second year on the run.

Expansion is going really well!
