Maybe Kear sees him more as a centre or even a 2nd rower if he has lost some of his pace. He certainly has the size to play in either of these two positions.

The majority of people on here have two words for you and they are not Scrum Half.
Out of curiosity where is this elusive Scrum Half supposed to come from? Down under would be your answer most probably. A down under accent isn't always the answer as you stated in one of your previous threads, where you were bagging one player with one game under his belt (before you jump on your soapbox I am not a fan of Smith and think he was a bad signing, but the best we could get at the time) and one who hasn't play a game yet, so has cost us nothing.

This reminds me of a game down at BV and we were in our own 20 at a scrum. We fed the scrum and the ball came out and Semi tried to pick it up on the run and he knocked it on. A couple of games later we tried the same move and he knocked it on again
Do you think he'll have perfected this move in his time away?

one thing is for sure, he will give one or two wingers some scary moments. love the way he goes up for the high ball. knees on the way up , elbows on the way down, and teeth if necessary.
