| I like most fans are hurting and appreciate people deal with this in different ways. I think everyone can agree the off field community department is up there with the best in SL. Last season we had the on field success too from all teams at WW. This season hasn't lived upto expectations and i hope like all others they pull something out of the bag in the last 3 games! I said i wasnt going to another away game this season chumping to my Dad. Ive calmed down, picked up my dummy, had a few Guinness and will be going again!
This event is without doubt the biggest Family Fun Day the club has put on - Stavros Flatley, Cheerleaders, Wildcat Dolls, and other perfomances, 5 Engage Inflatables, local bands, BBQ, Players, 15-20 Fairground Type stalls Coconut shy, asteroid blaster, football shot, basketball shot, tin can alley, archery, quoits, lawn darts, skittles, splat the rat, golf put, hook a duck, etal... The prizes arent massive as its more for the fun but its only 50p a go to encourage participation! Have some fun and lift the gloom, laugh, joke, have banter - I'll start!!
'I Don't think of myself as an ugly person, just a beautiful monkey' (Would you agree Al?)
Although fans are a little down it would be great to see you all there and if your umming and arring whether to or not, come for the intrigue, support the club and community department that work so hard and see what you think. However if you dont want to or cant, enjoy your weekend anyway, lifes too short..

| Front Page of Wakefield Express Free Midweek Paper and Ridings FM all week..
I do hope anyone who attends enjoys the day, and there is a lot for the kids Big/Kid Adults to do and watch!
We want positivity from the event but welcome any feedback / development points too so come along and let us know what your thoughts are!
Fairground Stalls are run by agencies but also a few charities that may be close to your heart - Cats Protection, Heart Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Wakefield Hospice.
WISCA would also like your support and have fun and tea/coffees/food to buy..
Hope to see you all there

| We had a great day, didnt mind paying the £6 for my hubby and myself as its all going to the club and at the min lets face it every £ helps. The only thing i have to say about the day was that as its a family fun day why were there no help for people with pushchairs and prams. We had to carry our pram down the stairs with people coming up and down next to us at the same time which really wasnt safe at all. Carrying the prams/pushchairs is fine aslong as you have someone to help you but i did notice some people who didnt have any help and had to carry pushchairs up and down the stairs on their own.

| Came home from work past the ground about 12.30 and it looked busy and a few cars parked up on sugar lane.
Hope it went well apart from the rain. Well done all involved

| I am also feeling very low about the club on field but mainly off the pitch regarding it's future but a big well done to the club for today's event.
I didn't mind paying three quid to get in (yes it would of been nice to get in for nothing) but Stavros Flatley would not have come cheap and they certainly brought people in.
This was a big improvement on previous ones (organised by WISCA I think). In what other sport would the public be served food by the first team squad at an event where the spectators can rub shoulders with players, coaching staff and senior management. This was everything I like about being a RL fan!

| Really enjoyed it today - lots more for the kids to do , more stalls & more entertainment . Big hat off to the players and JK too , my lad bought a ball and we got it signed by everyone in the squad , but every single one of them said hello,no problem etc . - basically no-one stuck up there own you know what , which makes a refreshing change in this day and age compared to other sports , so a big thanks from the Spongebobs . (hope the organisers from WISCA,SWAG, Davide, Jimmy,Sarah,Francis are all enjoying a well deserved drink tonight !)

That's a great touch. Hope the event was a success, and that we see the same effects we saw after the JD testimonial panto when we play Wire.

| Stavros Flatley displayed the best footwork I've seen on Belle Vue all season. Wonder if either of them can play scrum half.

Don't forget PLOD, he'll be enjoying a drink but he probably won't be paying for it, again
