I wouldn't want to see Jay move on, he has the potential to be a very good player.

It would seem a strange move in my opinion. Jay hasn't even managed to make himself a regular in the 17. I'd have thought he would want to establish himself before moving on to a club such as Leeds.

He could well end up in playing in the Leeds reserves for the next couple of seasons whereas at Wakey he was putting much nailed on for being a first team regular in the forth coming season. Money isn't alway everything

I'd be disappointed to see Jay move to the rhinos as I genuinely believe he has a big future. I think his natural tendency to play football has been a little bit stifled and as a result we haven't seen the best of him and he hasn't shown just how much he has to offer over and above the average second row prospect.

Maybe he sees a move to Leeds as a chance to play his more natural game and maybe he himself is a little disappointed at not being able to develop his handling ability whilst with Wakefield. I remember him trying to offload inside our own half last season and he cost us possession when we desperately needed to relieve some pressure on our defence. Maybe that sort of incident has led to his offload game being curtailed.

On the other side of the coin if we do get Broughton plus cash in exchange I would be extremely excited about the prospect of seeing him in partnership with Ryan Atkins.

I would love to see us secure the services of Ben Jones Bishop as well maybe we could float that idea rather than receiving a cash adjustment. A backline which contained Blaymire, Blanch, Jones Bishop, Atkins and Broughton would be pretty special, very pacey, very young and almost all English.
