i dont get what they expected the outcome to be really. With Widnes already been given the nod from the chamionship, and crusaders favourites to get a license over us for expansion.....why so much uproar? Alot of us had little hope of staying up, so I dont know what halifax were hoping for. If crusaders had stayed in then would they have been having a paddy about them aswell?

No, because as Slugger has ably proved on the VT, some parts of the RL community seem to want it both ways; they're in favour of franchising in all circumstances [iexcept[/i the circumstance where WTW turn out to be better than someone else, in which case they're against it.
