yes and to my reckoning it was closed in 1984 and has had years to over grow to what it is now, should we turn around and level all areas that have finished its use to then in twenty years not have the right to reclaim the land

Rodney Walker says the land is classified as green belt and the stadium will more than likely be pulled in by the goverment because of this which would delay the building. I dont understand what you are saying snowie??

it used to be a pit and the surrounding area had its effects of the industry, since it was shut, capped and leveled it has been left to develop into green land over the 20 odd years, its not like its been green land since the time began, put this way would bradford if the could be allowed to put a community stadium on Ilkley moor
