I felt a bit for the York lads to be honest - they just couldn't match the size, speed and strength of the Spartans; they're a div 5 side though, so it was quite a step up. In fairness to them, they played the game in good spirits and stuck to it right up the final whistle.

A sterner test next week - at home to Upton; should be a cracker.

Some clubs choose not to update scores through pitchero or their internet site and just leave it to YJARL to update on their site so scores over 50 dont get shown

stick with it seth you have just played the two strongest sides in the group and things will get easier.the reports im getting back are that you play some good rugby which is always good to hear.

Thanks appreciate that, we've a very determined group that'll bide their time and continue to develop.

On the web and reports side of things there's sometimes too much to keep up with as a volunteer, i have a 60 mile round trip to do each time for training and matches on top of a busy job and I coach U14s for Yorkshire once a week, so sometimes takes a while to update.

No worries, just as we were a team beaten by 50 today.

Hi Chris, all credit to the Crigg All Blacks website looks like you have got someone that is dedicated in pushing the cause for the youngsters.

I don't get involved with ours as its up to each and every team to do their own I was asked but don't want to be seen to favoring players, player stats do give the away side an advantage of research. publishing names and photos is fine as long as its protecting the child's interests and is governed by logging in.
as you know children's walfare is a mine field

as for putting up the scores, well you have to be trusted to run it correctly.

Skirlaugh Bulls 20 Stanley Rangers 16 it didn't bowed well in the first set of six when their full back clearly knocked on and it wasn't given, we knew that traveling to skirlaugh would go down the one sided reffing. I'm totally fed up with seeing this happen through the seasons and something has to be done to stop this spoiling the game. Skirlaugh didn't need help as they played with a passion to win and did. methley u14s got an absolute mullering this morning,struggling to know where we go from here.also i could do with some help with the coaching as i quite often end up on my own so if anyone out there might fancy having a go on the coaching side and can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
