All good stuff and good thats its out it the open. The ‘sponsorship’ has been in place a while now though, i mentioned it on a thread in here about a month ago. Who do you think funded the Gale and Fifita signings? Hopefully he’ll be in full charge in a few weeks and we can plan for the future with a little more confidence.

I look at it this way ,we only just survived last season with a much better squad ,takeout the engine room and the guy that leads us around the field and Ivan Cleary would struggle . Don’t get me wrong even this rag tag bunch should be playing to a much higher standard but Mash obviously isn’t a motivational type of coach, that p,win for all to see .This lot needed the whip cracking instead of the kids glove coaching style . Long awaited change is hopefully just around the corner .

First step in changing the culture

Hope it is not this coach that is doing the recruitment, We need a coach we is going to put together a team with a faster younger spine and bring players in who do not play 2 matches and have 6 or 7 week out injured .The main reason being they are old and injured as in Gales case when they get here.Hood as been terrible this year ,but was given a one year contract half way though the season. Sorry but till I see we are not wasting money on the same kind of signings ,and coaching set up it is just throwing good money down the drain

Think Leigh have shown how it should be done and the first 2 appointments HAVE to be a Director of Rugby and a new Coach who will be happy to build a quality squad to win the Championship next year, whilst our new owner puts in place a management team to tick as many of IMG's boxes as possible. That way we can hit the ground running in 2025
