We lost to a drop goal so not too shabby and Tomkins wasn’t the form fullback neither was mcllorum the form hooker , more like mates , so that’s dead in the water .

Taufua looks like he simply wants to go home. He looks lost, lonely, forlorn, awkward.

Form is ok during the season.
However, warm up matches are totally different.
Apart from fringe players hoping to make the 17 for the first game, players tend not to bust a gut (home or away), making it difficult to judge form.
OK is someone has been awful then, maybe dont play them but, the pre season games are about trying some combinations and trying to get some match fitness into as many of the squad as you can.
The threequarters will be hardest to pick and then whether we go with 4 forwards on the bench or, 3,plus a half/hooker.
Langi is a great bench option but, he may want a bit more than that.

Well whoever plays on the left wing will be up against TJ.

No my idea of form is what Murphy did last season and the bits I have seen this season confirms he still has it. If he doesn't play and Tufua gets a game that would be my definition of reputation over form.

Why do they feel that they have to “prove it” by putting a pic on Twitter? Like filming yourself donating to charity.

Clearly clubs have been told to promote themselves more on social media.

I would be very surprised if Murphy doesn't make the lineup, potential match winner and sound in defence.

All good stuff, but wouldn't it be nice if they could also find the time to put the details of our first team squad on the official website.
