18 - 6 Wigan

TBH Wigan are clearly a stronger team with a large number of older more experienced players. Physically out muscled, not so much in the FR but the back row with the exception of Windrow.

All the same plenty of positives in the form of individual effort.

Windrow, Shaw, Butler matching it up front.

Skriven, Camplin and Law playing well above their ages. Butterworth some nice touches but Bowes yet to fire. The rest are a bit men against boys but then that's exactly what they are.

What matters is there are a number of first team possibles, basically those above.

Not saying anything regarding the backs because they simply have not had any chances so can't comment.

2 miles forward on TV, Wigan getting away with a lot but tbf you make your luck.

That only works if you get away with the same whilst on front foot ofcourse.

There’s little excuse for missing forward passed that are clear cut. Guess the officiating is still not up to standard throughout various competitions.

Anyway I really hope they can turn it around. With a fair amount of possession they can certainly get back into it.

loose pass and wigan intercept and go 90 metres.

Twitter said we had a penalty for dissent. Must be a delay. That’s a shame. Still 20 left but need to score one back soon.

30 - 12, running away a bit now but no lack of effort.
