If it were me or you then I'd agree. People say stupid things when drunk ( well not me. I'm perfect in every way)
And it's done now so not a lot can be done.
But if he's negotiating, and the people he is negotiating with are not completely there, and read that he's been drunkenly telling his mates down the pub he's got it all sorted, it at the very least doesn't help him.
Even worse if it affects the discussion and it isn't true.
These discussions are better left at the bar, not on social media.
