I fully understand what you are saying but you’ve probably seen enough of trinity over the years to expect the unexpected, you simply don’t know what your going to get, we could turn up to Catalan hammer them and lose the next five, win three, lose two, that’s why I think we should try to win every game.

Predictable for me vasty, we get in good positions and because we just play the same way over and over, the opposition know what to expect, they see us off then know we will give them opportunities. It’s not through effort imo we need a different style that’s suits us better. Just mix it up and try different things if it doesn’t work so be it but at least we’ve tried.

If it is then our game with them will be in doubt as it’s a short turnaround for all and the ten day covid isolation rule will scupper both games if it’s true.

Looking from Another angle for the Catalan game is if we throw plenty of youth into the fixture to save some senior players for the suppposed easier games it will do nothing for the youngsters development getting a good hiding in the south of France , in fact it will more than likely be a demoralising encounter if we don’t get the mix right ,as when we have our backs to the wall and on a hiding to nowhere we have been known to come up with a shock result especially when the opposition take us lightly.

The first team need the practice, if fit definitely don’t play TJ.
