Certainly Clark will carve us open around the ruck if we’re not on the ball . Leigh seemed to have some success up the middle of us at the weekend which surprised me as it usually out wide where we have been vulnerable in the past and usually pretty solid up the middle .

Leigh had a lot of success last week with a simple inside ball, even led to Mellor's 2nd try, so need to tighten that up for sure

I thought they had more luck with the short side play. Sau, Gelling, Tierney all made breaks down the wing from short side plays. Don’t think we struggled with the inside ball much at all other than the Mellor try. Mostly it’s fairly easy to deal with.

Who struggled on short side D and got our numbers wrong on a few ocassions and also first receiver running back into and behind the ruck off quick play the balls caught us out for plenty of yardage on numerous ocassions.

Think the reason why there were breaks down the wing was ,the wakey wingers were not staying on there wing as they had over the last 2 matches Twice in the second half Kay went inside to help ,leaving Leigh winger unmarked

That could be the case though I’ll take your word for it as I can’t be bothered watching trinity tv again ha. but I’d guess that the reason he came inside is because we got our numbers wrong and he was attempting to shut down the centre but whatever the reason it needs fixing. Anyway with the number of breaks that Leigh made out wide and the yardage gains running back behind the ruck I think those are the biggest areas to fix up in a short turn around.

We made Liam Hood look like James Roby with the yards he made from dummy half and yes we got the numbers wrong a few times getting caught out on the short side. Definitely things to work on.
