| Well there's no guarantee Toronto will be admitted into the league if they win anyway.

It is correct. Toronto’s share of sky money would be split between the 11 clubs. Think the clubs have to pay for their own travel to the Toronto away game though. Currently Toronto pay for the champ clubs to go

I'm not doubting it, I'd just never seen it mentioned but then I tend to be pretty myopic towards Wakefield. Best of luck.

| I think Toronto will win, but rooting for Fev.
If Fev do it, hats off to them, and an ex tireless employee of Wakefield Trinity, Dav Longo

Agreed. And I also think Fev would bring a lot to SL which dont think Toronto would

| A man with an American accent once pulled up next to me and asked, "Excuse me - do you know the way to Feather-Stone?" - perfectly enunciated. I pointed him the right way, and gave him a bit of advice about pronunciation, just so he didn't get knacked when he got there.
Meanwhile - I'll be cheering for Fev - would love to see them get the win.

| I dont think any club should rely on away support, it's the home fans clubs should concentrate on

So you think no opposition fans is better? I don’t. RL is not a big enough sport for most clubs to survive on home gates. Whilst local derbies bring in cash, public interest and spectacle, Toronto offer none of that. There games both home and away will be dull sterile event imo.

Toronto will get the public interest, especially in the first instance, but that will wane as the season progresses. I dare say looking at the bigger picture Toronto, if it does take off, will be a shot in the arm for the game which Featherstone, or indeed any existing UK club, will not be able to provide. However, I would also imagine Fev will be around for a lot longer than Toronto.
Long term everyone would be better off with a full time NA league as I imagine if it did take off across the pond the likes of New York etc will soon get fed up of playing tin pot clubs from small towns in Northern England like Wigan and St Helens.
