I like Castleford's idea of sitting all the injured players together in the stand so Sky cameras can give regular checks for headcounts and stuff.

I think so - and there's lots of reasons for that - including them being much more finely tuned athletes knocking ten bells out of each other; size and speed; tackle technique, and the number of games.

I'd also like to think that we hear more about it now because player welfare is much higher on the agenda - so they're looked after by their clubs and not expected to play with injuries and/or dosed up on injections?

I agree that the left wing is a bit of a weakness for us at the moment. Warrington and Huddersfield definitely made in roads in this area. Can't blame Max much since he is playing a role he doesn't normally play. He is however often caught out of position in the defensive line and it could be a while before he and Joe develop an understanding defence wise. I just hope it is soon.

Wigan being champions and with such a great youth set up down the years should easily cope without 6 or 7 players and it shouldn't even be being mentioned, should it?

I'd argue we have better and more important players missing...Johnstone, Tupou, Randell, Huby, Batchelor....Kirmond and England missed last week too...little ole Wakey, not even spending up to the cap seem to be coping alright though...
