Quote Scarlet Pimpernell="Scarlet Pimpernell"You have to remember the council and MP must think of everyone in their areas not just the 5 or 6 of you on here. If you don’t like it you are all free to stand for election and if you are correct in your belief that the club is the centre of the community you should have no problem.
We know of course that none of you would win because the ratepayers of Wakefield have more important concerns sadly.
I note that the mosque that was guaranteed was going to be built is still not on the cards. I hope whoever stated on here that they had it from a person at the council meeting where it was agreed, I hope they weren’t telling an untruth because that is the reserve of the elected officials apparently.
I have read many wild accusations but the council have as I said before for all ratepayers not just the supporters of Wakefield.
I will leave it at that if it keeps you happy to write pages and pages of posts just going over and over the same ground.'"
Cool story that but what has it got to do with WMDC handing green belt land over to a developer. under the promise of a Community Stadium and other sporting facilities being built (2 full size 3G pitches and seperate changing rooms), along with providing around 2000 new jobs for said Community & ratepayers under a S106 agreement. All this was achieved with the help of 15000 signatures in supprt by the people of Wakefeild/ratepayers.
What have we go to show for all those promises 7 years on, a huge box that counts towards nothing for the ratepayers you go on about so much and about 125 jobs. Not excatly what WMDC and Yorkcourt said is it, in fact it's nowhere close. You don't think said ratepayers of Wakefield should be concerned about that hey? Ateotd this development was meant to be built with little cost to WMDC. You'd think they'd do everything in their power to make it happen wouldn't you, but all we've heard until recently is that it's nothing to do with them, strange that.
You seem to think all this is about ' the 5 or 6 of you on here', well that speaks volumes about where you're coming from tbh.
You also constantly paint this as just being about Trinity, when it's not at all. It's about the Community at large as well as Trinity being let down by both parties involved, whether that's the sports facilties or the jobs.
By the way if you think MC has a 'problem' with you, it can't be anything to do (even though you claim to be a Trinity fan) with your constant anti Trinity slant since you joined the site. I don't see MC having a 'problem' with anyone else, do you.
You say you'll leave it at that but I bet when any other news about the stadium, Newmarket or WMDC pops up, you'll be soon on here to put your views across.
