| Defining image of tonights game.
Wilkin spitting his dummy.... I mean his gumshield after the penalty try.
Justice done for is Oscar last year in getting England banned
All done with a last minute team change.
One day we may have a fully fit front row

| Well done to the players and coaches. Kept fighting throughout the game and a bit of class at half back won the game.
Kirmond really put his body on the line. Hope he's ok,
Be good to bring in Keegan Hirst if some of the front row are carrying knocks like England.

| Justice. The last saints tried were gifted. Fifita moved off the mark no more than any other player tonight but got pinged and they scored. Then saints ran yet another obstruction line, Childs ignored it and they scored again.
The fact that Miller nearly scored despite being tackled without the ball shows he would have scored without said interference.
Spare a thought for Jon wilkin. He's still trying to fathom how he's allowed to lose despite his status as BBC pundit and every saints games unofficial second ref.
Three games we could have won and we've got 1 win. Imagine what we might do if we can close games out ?

| Kirmond stepped up today.
Walker was good to say last minute inclusion
Grix was a match winner/saver for us again
And Williams and Miller between them controlled the game well from boot.
Fifita got some tough calls against him.
The refs don't like him much.
Penalty try was absolutely deserved. It was a try without the infringement.

| Thoroughly deserved the win, if anything the penalty try was justice after those ridiculously pedantic penalties against Fifita which almost gave Saints the game. The condescending attitude towards us from the Sky commentators grinds my gears though (not including Barry McDermott)

| Quote tigertot="tigertot"Absolutely spot on. Apart from a very harsh penalty against Taia on 72 minutes & the penalty try you got nothing from the ref.'"
Didn't the video ref get the decision correct ? Everyone else seems to think so....... unless you live in St Helens.

| Still chuckling at Fifita getting done for being rough with a toss French halfback.
Ridiculous decision.

| It looks like we have a goal kicker that can kick from anywhere, something we have struggled with in previous years

| After how MCB played in today's game, CC will have a selection headache when BJB is fit.

Bit unfair on Clark who seemed utterly perplexed by Mr Childs - it's only really Eddie who's an utter tool.
