Got to be one of the most embarrassing threads I've ever seen posted on a forum...

Who on earth could have played last week? We were down to the bare bones already which is why Moules played! We were down to our last fit players today, so much so we had to name two injured players in the 19...had someone had to pull out the young kid (Senior is it?) would have had to play....

The lads gave their all today but were soundly beaten by a top quality side who turned up on the day with a fully fit squad and probably wanting to right a few wrongs from last season...after the early knock on leading to our opening try I can't remember them making a mistake until the back end where it got a bit scrappy...just too good for us....the final will be played by the best two teams in the competition...

We can hold our heads high...though Walton (other than freezing on the break) and Crowther were outstanding.....fans absolute class!

leedscat has an uncanny knack of putting his foot in his mouth, then when he gets a bit of criticism for his 'knowledge', he has his safety net by offering people out! Classy!
Wire are a club that play beautiful but are liable to have a blip.
We got them in the league but not today.
If we had lost in the league but won today and been in the middle 8s, would we have survived?

it wasnt your day today but keep believing..you av a top guy in chester..your fans today were a credit to the wakefield club just reading some of the comments from your fans after the match a very nice touch...just hope it doesnt dis-hearten the club for the 8s comp..

Glad on here Walton has had a bit of credit.

He had brain freeze yes and if all players were fit probably wouldnt have played but he is a very commited player and puts 100% into every carry and tackle. Did you see some of the hits he was putting in during the warm up
