| Well we got the bite back from the Cas fans. It was obviously going to come.
Season isn't over though.
The end of the season is after the next 7 games. I reckon we'll be above Cas by then, which is what matters.

| According to Cas all the way on the VT they had 10 first team players missing yesterday, this was promptly out trumped by towns88 to thirteen missing players and by tomorrow it will probably have risen even further.
What would be interesting to know is which of the following players that played yesterday Crooks, McShane, Gale, Springer, Milner, Patrick, Mariano, Millington, Moors, O. Holmes. would make way for these injured automatic choices?

| Bear in mind that Massey only misses games when Salford aren't playing the same day, regardless of fitness.
It is the norm now, started by Wigan, for fans to list every squad player injured just to show how a supposed 2nd string is bravely struggling on.

In my opinion, those missing who would be in our strongest 17 line up would be:
1. Dorn
2. Hitchcox
3. Shenton
4. Webster
5. Solomona
6. Roberts.
8. Lynch
12. Mcmeeken
13. Massey.
Other injuries:
Monaghan
Robson
Jewitt
Chase
Only DP knows what his strongest line up is but to go into any and without your first choice 1-6 is ridiculously unlucky before you even consider the losses in the pack.
But that's how it's been pretty much all season for us and I personally am amazed we've made the top 8.

According to the match report in League Express we had 14 missing.
Have a look at the shirt numbers for the backs who started yesterday:-
18
34
19
11
24
15
7
Only Gale at 7 is first choice.

| Cas were missing a back line, Trinity were missing a pack (exacerbated by the loss of Molloy and the injury to Ashurst). Ultimately this told and the lack of power enabled the weakened three quarters to run riot.

| We did lose Larne Patrick very early on with concussion and he didn't return. As we had a half back on the bench that only left us 2 forwards, debutant Savelio and Maher who didn't feature until the final 10 minutes.
Fifita looks promising and i liked the way he responded to the jibes of the Cas fans.

You and your cas mates seem to be missing the point here, If we believe what we're led to believe that those players absent from yesterday's game were absolute shoe in's, backs or forwards it matters not to me, which of the players offered on that list that played yesterday would not play if the injured players towns88 and co. boast about would not have got a start,
fairly simple question really.

So what.
We were missing Johnstone, Gibson, Jones Bishop and lost Tupou in the game in the backs
We were missing England, Moore, Simon, Kirmond and Anderson from our starting pack
Annakin is out who would be next in line, with Walker, Howarth and Yates our front row back up not available to us (that's our fault though)
We also lost Ashurst with a broken jaw and Sio injured too.
We all have injuries. Just get on with it. You won. Why would you even be on here trying to justify why you didn't win by more?

Cool your jets! Chissit asked a question and I gave my answer. I wasn't trying to get into an argument nor have I tried to justify anywhere that we should/could have won by more!
The reason I haven't commented on wakey a injury list is that I don't know it (cos they're not my team)!
