| very well said Mr Carter, think some of his critics should put up or shut up,the man has done his level best in running the club,he did,nt come in to see us giving the performances we have this season,he for one as tried is upmost, and yes he has made mistakes and I don't always agree with the signings but I don't know the ins and outs of the deals or what he as had to spend,i think he has tried to get the best value for the club rightly or wrongly, keep going mr Carter,i for one think you have done well for the club, lets hope we get the right result on sat

| Yep well said, he's done a solid job and if we survive the weekend as a Super League Club then tomorrow is another day.
One slight amendment to what he said a couple of times, it's not all about winning, it's about competing and playing with a passion for the shirt and personal pride.

Agree with this. If only the players had competed in at least some of the ridiculous losses we have sustained MC would not have had to endure a lot of the criticism thrown at him.

I haven't been on this forum for very long compared to others. I fully understand the reasons that you think you have been shafted by Yorkcourt and agree with you. I have always been puzzled though as to why you blame Box and WMDC. I watched this clip and down the right hand side of the screen were other suggested clips. One was titled Wakefields new ground gets the green light. In it James Elston seems to thank WMDC for all their help in getting final PP through. So whats changed? Its a genuine question as it was before my time on here.

We wouldn't have a Stadium scheme if it weren't for WMDC. YC wouldn't have an industrial estate without us. Were we used as a Trojan Horse to get to part 2? The actions since OPP was granted have at least raised sever questions over the willingness and ability of WMDC in this process. They have a chance to put this right - will they do it? If they do, they can have my glass of Champers!

Because when it came to the point where they had to deliver, they failed/refused to do so. They allowed a sloppy 106 through and after that they refused to insist that the first massive build counted towards the stadium build.
Look at the difference in attitude from Box between your (Cas) stadium and the Newmarket one. And also Denise Jeffries who is 'not in the business of providing Rugby Stadiums' but took great glee in being in the Cas stadium champagne fest the other day.

| I believe some or our more rabid forum members believe I have a vendetta against our chairman. I do not but I do with what he has done to my club. He sells a squad reduces the salary, then mid season releases some more further reducing the salaries and now he suddenly takes the moral stance and releases two more but manages to retain one, a useless one and probably the cheapest just before our most important game.
We also adopt a policy of keep the supporters in the dark, they are like children and wouldn't understand the workings of a business. I regret that many do and that is why the attendances continue to fall. Is it the club's fault no it is us the supporters despite only winning three league games, one cup match and three play off games we should all be happy to keep putting our hands in our pockets. I know many of you will but sadly without SL I fear you will be in the minority.
If we lose on Saturday I will personally hold him responsible because what we have now is a direct result of the decisions he has taken.
I am not part of the previous regime just a supporter for over 40 years, I have seen previous chairman make mistakes but this one just carries on, does he not have anyone who he will listen to because the little voice in his head just keeps saying yes carry on.
I hope I can apologies and what we have keeps us in SL .

| Presumably Chris Brereton is the junior director with a lower investment in the club, but what is Chris's actual involvement in the day to day running of WT, and what does he inject in the way of club policy or is he completely sub-serviant to MC?

| I am not their spokesman, but I can confirm that Chris and Michael work full time for the club along with the handful of staff we still retain. They are both very integral to the workings of the club.

| Its interesting that the local papers of our opposition have run stories regarding our club before a game. we had the same thing going on when we played hull and h k r stating we had signed a hull player.
If M C did state the club would go part time it would have been a stupid thing to do. I very much doubt he gave a Bradford paper an exclusive, why would he.
A relegated club that could even consider a part time squad shows no ambition and would probably lose any full time players it had on its books to other S L clubs in the process.
Leigh have made some good signing already in preparation for next season and I think they would mount a much stronger challenge.
Bradford are probably looking at the opportunity on Sat and forming the opinion that they might not get a better chance to get in to S L for at least another couple of seasons,

You can doubt it all you want but it would appear he did say it. Doubt t&a would make it up and leave itself open to a libel claim.

| Stands to reason. He's an accountant. What does an accountant do when faced with a drop in funding?
