| The club need to move on quickly .im not sure how the squad will react. You need some emotion and then need to direct that towards a better performance. Do we have a squad capable of turning any emotion in to a performance and a win. Do we have a squad with the right mind set. I have no idea if we will be better off and if we are how the develoent of the club will be measured . I think Mr charters club have one hell of a fight on their hands next Saturday and beyond that the club needs to engage with supporters, employ people in key positions, raise funds, appoint a coach, recruit playing staff and appoiint a marketing person who can also take charge of the media.

There are no plans to grow or build the club as that costs money, which we don't have, and there is no appetite to invest in the clubs infrastructure without it.'"
At least next season nobody will be under any false illusions as to where we stand right from the start. Anybody getting a season ticket or going to the opening games will know what to expect.

Don't think anyone is going to jump in the Calder. Most fans are fed up with the Shiite served up every week by Trinity and they pay to be entertained. If they don't get that most will walk but it won't be the plank it'll be just back home to or in some cases with their family not to return.

| Quote: TRB "We will be quite a bit better off - as has been publicly stated - due to the reduced rent on BV and the fact that we have paid off the old debts - Glovers legacy! As a result we will be able to pay close to the SC - so yes, we will be better off!'"
Good to know, unfortunately all the decent players who could perhaps help the club move up the table will have been signed up so elsewhere so we have more cash to pay the same below average players more money.
Perhaps it would be more prudent if those savings can be ploughed into the club to grow the business and look at things like marketing, recruiting a knowledgeable CEO (Steve Ferres?) and a coach who can put in systems and structures that will project more than a season.

| My worry is that, yes, we may be able to spend to almost full cap, but how many quality players are Available? Will we be paying over the odds to bring in average players that will be no better than what we currently have but just want paying more? I'd invest in the background stuff to get the club running properly which in turn should help generate funds for the team. Difficult decisions to be made...

| OK, yet another crap day but 24 hours on let’s get some more perspective.
I agree with TRB and as Monty once said “you can lose all the battles except the last one” - it’s the last one that wins the war.
First of all I’m amazed anyone thought that in a game where only pride was at stake we’d actually show any. We have not done so all season so what’s changed. If we win next week I can guarantee that in the case of most players it won’t have anything to do with pride.
That said yesterdays game was in purely playing terms one we could do without. At the end of the day is it worth any of the limited talent we have getting injured? So two ex Wakey youngsters prove a point, good for them but it’s pretty empty in the grand scheme of things. Anyone who thinks that if we had kept Stringer and Davey we’d somehow be a better team are totally deluded IMHO and I always liked Davey.
To be honest we don’t deserve to stay up, however that is counterbalanced by my own opinion that the Bulls are not worthy of promotion either. Truth is Leigh should have come up and we should have gone down month ago but RL lost credibility years ago on that one.
My big worry for next week is the lack of Tim Smith. I agree he has never been the player some made out. However watch the las Bradford game - the pack layed the platform but Smith was absolutely the difference. Without him I’m afraid it really is two average Championship clubs fighting it out.
So forget about yesterday, Saturday is all that matters and I just can’t predict it but my support remains solid.

Vasty the problem is Gaskell has hardly played in the middle 8's for Bradford and if fully fit is a player who can cause our woeful defence plenty of problems. Contrast that with Miller and Godinet who based on yesterdays performance couldn't open a door if it were already ajar and I believe were going to struggle to win because we can't defend and seem clueless in attack as well.
I might also add that tupou and lyne were a joke defensively with pretty much all the tries coming down their side. Tupou is no good at centre (should be on the wing) and lyne is just no good full stop.

We will do our vocal support considering what we've had to put up with has been brilliant, can't wait until Saturday.

Try reading my post.
I'm not defending this squad or yesterday - what I'm saying is it's irrelevant.
If and I clearly state it's a big if we win then no one will give a toss about yesterday. Likewise if we get relegated it's hardly the pivotal moment. Nothing game and not worth the upset other than wasting £20.

I did read your post and the point I was making was Bradford have a half back who could expose our weaknesses and therefore with Gaskell in the side they are not necessarily an average championship side whereas based on our performance yesterday we are
