Ideally, we win by such a convincing margin that even Mr Child can't affect the outcome.

It's a tough game Rugby League. I reckon our lads should be able to stand up to the big bad Leigh forwards. There is a lot of created uproar about how "over rough" they are but they are just playing rugby and it's down to us to handle it. The ref can do his job without us worrying about it.

We should be looking to be ahead early so any poor decisions don't affect us. (Unfortunately, Leigh may well have the same game plan)

Rubbish, he penalised us because we're not professional or bright enough to just play inside the rules, if you speak to Fans of a team deemed underdogs their speccis always feel hard done by, that's how it is in sport!

I think the uproar around Leigh and their discipline was about a clearly coached strategy to cause flare-ups by niggling the opposition; if any of our players are daft enough to fall for that, they deserve to be penalised. And Mr Child, for all his failings, has dozens of SL games under his belt - he shouldn't be fooled either.

Leigh were full of swagger because they've cut a swathe through their amateur opposition all year and turned over a couple of crappy SL sides along the way; Salford knocked them down a peg or two with a full strength and reinvigorated side, and so should we.

Salford game was in the balance for 60 mins or so. Video ref would have sent us in at worst even instead of 16-0 down, Childs will be the worlds best ref when compared to that to$$er Silverwood.
Hope we get a great game for TV and that the best team wins.

Childs and best ref have never been seen in the same sentence before, unless you go for, Childs is not the best ref n Rugby League.
The guy is a clown and as someone else posted, our record with him in charge is very poor indeed.
Although, our record over the past couple of seasons has been poor no matter who has been in charge.

Don't get your hope up though, as the Brian Smith band wagon has just started to roll.

It's funny you should say that because up to 3pm last Saturday afternoon, according to all the Bulls fans' the best referee in super league was going to ref our game, unfortunately their opinion had dramatically changed at 4.50pm
