And herein lies the problem with the Leeds position; if they'd have kept schtum, this outcome would be accepted - as it is, people will say that they've influenced the outcome with their witch-hunt nonsense.

If the RFL had the evidence to find him guilty then they'd have used it and at the same time cleared their own name from Leeds' accusations.

Surely Leeds' statement would've made the RFL more determined to prove it wasn't a witch-hunt on their part to make themselves look squeaky clean.

That they still couldn't come up with a guilty verdict only proves one thing.....there wasn't enough evidence as was obvious from just about the beginning of this whole thing.
