Season tickets go on sale 1st September (that's a little over a fortnight off still) and the early bird offer ins until 1st December.
Pointless blowing our load now as it will all be forgotten about come October.

This is my fear also.
I don't what's happening with the player situation at the moment but being a Wakefield supporter for many years I'm quite used to it.
Those Wigan and Leeds fans don't know how lucky they are.

Probably to save wages but would 2 more months pay make that much difference ?

It's the middle of August and already the doom mongers are out.
It's about money and no one knows what either Richie Mathers or Richie Moore were asking.
Has been mentioned that Webster wanted to keep Mathers but the board wouldn't let him.
That tells me the figures weren't right.
Moore was probably worth another year but nothing has come out about Webster wanting to keep him, so a mutual agreement has been the best outcome for both parties.
Moore gets himself fixed up with another club to prove his worth and we save some coin, that maybe put to improving an existing player contract.
Sometimes people have to look past the end of their noses and have a bit of confidence in the financial turn around of the club in the last 12 months and the improvement of performances under Webster.
Don't think we will be having 3 of our overseas arriving 3 days before kick off next season!

He's not actually transferring.

C1:2:8

If any signing takes place or is authorised by the Board after close of business on the Friday prior to the last:

(i)Seven rounds of regular matches in Super League (18th July, 2014); or

(ii)Six rounds of regular matches in Championship (25th July 2014); or

(iii)Three rounds of regular matches in Championship 1 (15th August 2014)

then the Club shall not be entitled to play that Player in the remaining rounds or in any Match in the relevant Grand Final Series.

I thought we'd signed Matty Ashurst and Mickael Simon from Catatlans as well as Hall.

To be fair it's took a while, but the grumblings of the Scarlet Pimpernell are starting to sound very familiar.

The club have announced a number of re-signings too but it won't matter who comes in. The apathetic Wakefield public won't be fussed either way, especially at £200+ a pop.
