| Collis played 20 SL games in 2012, 24 SL games in 2013 (scoring 12 tries but how many did he create for Fox who compared him to Matt Gidley) but as said only played 6 so far this season.
Think bar this season he's been good value and is a class centre. If he's got his injury sorted properly then we need to keep him. Best centre we've had for a number of years.

| I'd let Collis go and try and make Keinhorst a permanent deal if this was an option.

| Would'nt want to get him fit, only for another club to reap the benefit.
I seem to remember him saying as long as Agar was coach he was happy to stay at wakey, hope he feels the same about Webster.
Class player.

The main complaint is Collis' injury record rather than his ability/class - isn't Keinhorst in the same boat at the moment? (yeah I know he has played 3 games on the trot)

| Get Collis fit and it would be like another signing for next season.

Looking at that how do people say that he his hardly on the pitch earning his wage? its only this season when he's been injured, hardly a big sicknote is he?? If the price is right I'd keep him, only bit of class we have got in the backs!

Exactly this. Everybody seems to agree we should keep Ali Lauitiiti yet up to his return against Widnes he had only played 3 more first team games for us than Collis in the same length of time.
Yes he has had issues this season but the guy is class and replacing him with someone of equal ability wouldn't come cheap either. It would have to be a very beneficial deal for me to consider it good business.

| Nobody is doubting his class and when fit is a great centre.
Think the debate is more about can a club like Wakey have one of their quota spots taken up by a hit and miss player?
Ali doesn't count on the quota, so not much of a kerfuffle about him being injured for a long time.

Is he hit and miss playing 44 SL games in 2 seasons excluding the latest season? I think that's the point.
We had a lucky escape with Chris Tuson who got an injury and was out for ages and would have been on a big contract. It's rugby league and by the nature of the sport there is no guarantees about a quality player not getting a serious injury despite being injury free for the previous 2 seasons. There is a reason Fox scored as many tries as he did in 2 seasons and that's Collis.
We'd be daft to let him go but we're talking Trinity so who knows?

| How many games has collis actually finished though? I seem to remember him limping off or not coming on for the second half a time or two.
Dont get me wrong he is a great centre

| Too good a player in a position we are light when you consider currently we are using one loan player or a second row. I also believe the injury that he is currently sidelined with is different so may not necessary hinder his game time in the future.
I would ask a question how many of you believe that he would have difficulty finding another club despite the fact some of you consider him to be injury prone.

He wouldn't have difficulty, he's a quality player and we're it not for his injuries he would be at a better club already.

| Can't believe what some people are saying in this thread,
Collis is genuine class, he's struggled this year with injuries but who doesn't pick up injuries in the greatest game!
I'm looking forward to seeing Collis starting in the centres next season for us
