| I just want us to stay up, I don’t even care if it’s assisted by the point’s deduction.
People still snipe about the Crusaders “Dear John” letter that saved our bacon when the last licences were handed out.
Hell, some even go on about when we were first admitted to SL & what promises we failed to deliver.
At the end of last season we looked like dead men walking, yet now we are on the cusp of survival.
The saddest part for me is, invariably as Wakey fans, this appears to be as good as it gets. No Grand Finals, no Challenge Cup finals, just relief we avoid relegation & even that’s not certain yet, when you live in my world that is  . |

Spot on mate, i've always noticed that the amount of shirts on show around town directly reflects the current form of the team and the pride of the fans. Lets be honest most of us think twice about going out in the shirt if we've been getting tonkings but can't wait to wear it all week when we've won. Stinks a bit by Friday i'll admit. |
