The poster explained you had plenty of opportunity to get a £10 ticket, be able to walk up to the ground to collect it on the day and get in for the tenner as you wished to do.
If you are so outraged this poster assumes to know your personal circumstances, it's fairly hypocritical to the do the same to him by suggesting "you've done more for this club..." I'm guessing you don't even know him.
Stop flouncing about, if you can't go fair enough, but you could have turned up tonight for a tenner if you had planned it better/planned it at all.
Don't chastise posters for stating the bleeding obvious.

Don't work in Wakey, don't live in Wakey, can't get to Wakey in working hours etc etc - be honest you know as well as I do it would be better as an open offer with no restrictions, it's that which makes people turn up on spec and swells the numbers.

I don't live in Wakefield either. Takes me an hour 1 way to get to the ground.

I often call the club shop and speak to Angelina or one of the other staff to organise tickets so guests I bring with me can have a ticket in the East Stand to sit with me. (I'm a season ticket holder even though I can't make all home matches.)

I also travel a lot, globally. I'm currently in the US and often use Skype or some other means to get in touch and arrange tickets before hand.

As it happens I fly back into Manchester airport at around 8am on Sun 29th June. This is the day we play Hull FC. I've already called the club and arranged tickets to be collected on the day of the match for some guests I'm bringing with me.

Sorry things don't work out for you Vasty. Personally for me I try my best when I can, no matter where I am in the world. It works for me but each to their own.

I don't think anyone can question his love of the club and to do so is out of line in my opinion. I think he makes a valid point that walk ups would be increased if the deal was available on the day. People have plans that change, may get an invite out etc and to find you'd be paying over double because of a spur of the moment decision could be very galling
