Trout is hardly the type of player that is going to move Fev up to the next level. Would expect Fev's other signings to be of a similar calibre rather than someone of Sammut's quality and cost.

I would take Smith back any day, he can put players through gaps and get us around the field which is something our current halves cannot seem to do.

As for Fev, they have already announced 4 or 5 "Super League" signings who have turned out to be Blackmore, Crooks, Green, Bridge and Trout who are not the sorts of players to worry Super League Teams. Also no idea how they could fit Sammut under a Chapionship Salary Cap this season.

Cant see this being true, Think its just a made up rumour, even if we could afford him and that he would actually drop down to our level. I very much doubt we could keep within the the salary cap.
