Quote bellycouldtackle="bellycouldtackle"I think that on paper London and Wakefield look very very very weak and will be cut adrift from the rest very early into the season. Cant see either team winning a game except against each other. So the relegation dog fight that everyone is looking for to give meaningfull games will not happen. I do think that the fight for the 6th 7th and 8th spots will be interesting and will involve several teams. It is obvious that Wigan, Warrington, Saints, Leeds and Hudds will be in the top five, Catalans , Salford , Hull, Cas and Hull KR look slightly stronger than Widnes but Widnes are very well coached by Denis Betts and have the Wigan connection, if Bradford retain all their players then they will be in the mix, so hopefully we will have these 7 teams fighting tooth and nail for three places. should be very exciting except if you are a london or Wakey fan.'"
I respect your right to be totally depressed, and, as with most who suffer so, I respect your right to try to drag everybody down with you... However I don't share your pessimism.
The three players arriving next week are all better than those who they replace from last year... And some of the new guys will do really well... Dan Smith looks a great prospect, and Briscoe will go well... I really like the look of McShane.
Also FWIW every time I have seen a Denis Betts coached side I have been far from impressed.. I dont think he has a clue!
My prediction is 9 to 11th and I don't care where everybody else finishes.
