Cas will be fine as will bulls if they don't lose any players. I think we will struggle for 12-13 games then start to click and will finish 11th.

My heart says we will sneak that coverted(!) 12th place ahead of Widnes and London. My head says we are playing our last season of superleague for a while. If fear only an exodus from Bradford will save us, if they keep their players and they are fully motivated they will be closer to the eight than the bottom.

I think we'll get some absolute thrashings this year, but we'll scrape into the 12.

Not that keen on the quick turnaround Salford then Bradford on the Thursday. However that's what we have so bring it on. Looking at the sky games we are only featured twice and I think both on Thursday nights.

If we are in 12th at the end of the season I will be happy but if we get lucky with injuries I think we could be the surprise package. #trinityforever #backthebadge

I respect your right to be totally depressed, and, as with most who suffer so, I respect your right to try to drag everybody down with you... However I don't share your pessimism.

The three players arriving next week are all better than those who they replace from last year... And some of the new guys will do really well... Dan Smith looks a great prospect, and Briscoe will go well... I really like the look of McShane.

Also FWIW every time I have seen a Denis Betts coached side I have been far from impressed.. I dont think he has a clue!


My prediction is 9 to 11th and I don't care where everybody else finishes.

If we are to have a reasonable season, the team needs to learn from the mistakes they made last year.
Far too many times we got into good positions in the oppositions 20, only to blow it with a rushed passage of play.
Hopefully we can be a bit more patient, retain the ball for repeat sets and grind teams down when in good field position.
Think we have a bit more around the play of the ball with McShane and his short kicking game should come onto play.
New players, hopefully new approach.

I think McShane or Wildie feeding Godinet quick ball will give us a greater chance on 6th tackle plays.
Aiton was slow and Smith was gifted but near the line he needed others to run and we didn't always do it well enough for him.
Kicking game for halfbacks was poor.

McShane Wildie and Godinet are all runners and near the line will cause breaks in defensive line.

Much depends on Bradford and whether the RFL have the balls to give them a points deduction for administration.

If they get the full six points, I feel you will be very safe. A 2 point deduction may even be a massive factor in their season.

That said, I happen to think Widnes will struggle - I think a lot of people are over-estimating them. I don't see any reason why - injuries permitting - you can't finish fourth from bottom. Don't think Bulls, Widnes and even Salford have any great depth.

I think Cas might also be safe if Bradford get 6 points
