| Strange all this talk of away ends at our non-segregated ground. Cas clearly have a designated "away" end at Wheldon Road/The Jungle/Probiz Coliseum. I remember from last Good Friday stood in the end where all the Wakefield fans were behind the goal. There were a small number of Cas fans there for some reason; from what I could tell they fit one of these three categories:-
1. Bunch of teenage kids who got pleasure out of acting immature and thinking they are winding up the away support
2. Adult Cas fans who were clearly there to goad away fans, otherwise why be there? There was an unsavoury incident during the match where the goading very nearly got out of hand, thankfully it did not.
3. Respectable Cas fans who are actually there to meet up with friends who happen to be supporting their opponents. One such fan was stood behind me, I had a pleasant natter with him and shook hands at the end of the match.
No's 1 and 2 are not really there to enjoy the game and ruin the experience when their club has clearly tried to create an away end. No 3 are a real delight and I always have time for genuine fans who are good natured and willing to share opinion in friendly manner.
I wonder what the combinations will be once we "go north" on Friday.
And before any Cas fan cries foul, our club has not set out to have a designated away end so you cannot claim to have right to the north terrace.

| is this still an evening kick off?
was quite surprised when i saw this, given likelihood of fans getting tanked up beforehand.

Cas don't have a designated away end, you can stand where you want at WR, the fans of both hull clubs use the princess street stand, I've seen plenty of away fans in the wheldon road end over the years. Most fans tend to go to the railway but that's there choice in the same way Cas fans tend to go to the north stand at BV. I stand at the railway end myself, not to cause trouble but because that's where our supporters bar is, and there a couple of hundred Cas fans who do the same.

i think your asking a lot there seeing as you dont kick off until 7.30 and closing bars 20 mins before kick off is like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted which is why our game kicks off at 12.15 although some pubs in hull open at 9 in the morning on derby day

| I see they've had to have segregation for the fev cas match is sad to see but most of the new grounds have designated away stands now anyway and it does create a better atmosphere with all fans stood together. Belle Vue is a hard ground to enforce segregation. The only way ( and it would upset alot of Trin fans who stand there) would be for away fans to stand on the east stand terrace. Once we move to newmarket I presume one end will be the away stand like with most new grounds
