I really like Davey who is a real hooker. However he is a victim IMO of the clubs previous policy of not bulking up young players - his physical development has been virtually nil in the last 4 years.

I agree with what you're saying about Davey, as physically he is nowhere near what is required to operate consistantly at Super League level. However, I still think Wildie has more ability out of the two and is more able to domainate play the ball compared to Davey.

| I think we'll see James Davey moving on sooner rather than later, which is a shame as I rate the kid.
Back on topic, Cockayne gets my vote, closely followed by Kirmond.

| Based on expectation when they were signed, Kirmon, although there have been plenty of players doing well, Mathers, Cockayne, Aiton, Big Ali and from last seasons remaining players
Amor desrves a mention. He's been badly missed and with him in the team we could certainly have had a few more points in the league.

yes he was great under jeffries' kicks, and with that chance at widnes. on the plus side he's not done any of his trademark high tackles yet.

Amor not really a new signing, a great one but not new.

He was left completely isolated. Not saying he covered himself in glory but certainly mitigating circumstances

Agreed, the guys inside him should shoulder just as much of the blame. BC is our leading try scorer and has made more breaks than anyone else I think. He's doing as well as anyone in attack.

| I like a lot of the ones named:
Aiton and Southern especially good signings.
Kirmond is a revelation
But for me Ali is the key one. No one else can do what he does and if we can get the other players playing off him he will get us a lot of wins.

Wasn't it Mellars that should have had these kicks. Centres and Second row scored these so to me the people inside Cockayne should have gone and called for these.
