I'm never quite sure how Elston isn't tagged as part of the old regime. He's still the puppet, just Glover pulls the strings now not Richardson. What's his background and his qualifications other than having played the game? If we questioned Di's role, why not him.

Open your eyes man - I mean all the OTT banging of drum stuff you do is fine as far as it goes - as are you're relentless Ted jibes every time I post something you don't like- but occasionally you have to make touch with reality. Over the last 6 month, rightly or wrongly as I'm not judging on this occasion WTRLFC has been systematically downsized to be a Championship team. Revenue streams especially those that yield a steady source of income have been increased but all spending let alone increased spending on product has virtually ceased - what does that tell you - ZERO INVESTMENT. It's gone IMO way beyond holding back and waiting for the franchise result, we are shutting down as a SL club for the time being at least.

I think AG would choke on his rich tea if we actually got a franchise as we appear to have made absolutely no attempt to prepare for another SL season. Forget about the ground improvements on offer, SL IMO won't fall for that. We do have a very slim chance of a franchise but IMO it will be for reasons way beyond the clubs control.

I'm not saying what he is doing is wrong, it's not a criticism - it's a statement of the bl**ding obvious to anyone was the ability to read between the lines. The theory I assume is to go into hybernation until NM is on line, whether that's a good idea only history will tell.

He is by most people with a brain, NGB4C is a bandwagon jumper with a selective memory who just shouts whatever random view enters his head at any given moment. He's like the Jeremy Clarkson of the forum, if he shouts at it loud enough it will happen as he wants it.

Maybe, maybe not. However from a business point of view it may make sense to play the percentages in this manner and not waste a penny when the odds are seemingly so stacked against us, to preserve as much as possible for the eventuality of second tier rugby.

Indeed, that's why I'm not judging. None on here despite what they may suggest have all the facts. At the end of the days it's Glovers money. However I can't see any other conclusion that can be drawn, it seems much deeper than playing it canny until we are sure we have the nod.

Come on - be positive, see the positives, we must be positive. I'd rather be positive and then disappointed, than disappointed all week and then disappointed next week.
