I think your going OTT here, the fact is, it happens all the time, when you buy something, then the next time you see the item, it's in a sale, like the example you used of a TV, there constantly dropping prices of TV's.
I bought a couple at £30 for presents for relatives, but I don't mind that they're trying to get extra fans in, you take the rough with the smooth and I know, the money went to a good cause, which is supporting Trinity, anyway you more than make your money back in savings.
