Some of the stuff chucked at TRB on here is nothing short of disgusting, whether you agree with the man or not does not give people the right to insult somebody whose passion for the club is in no doubt.

Best one ever - you're right he did want to own the club problem is he wanted it given to him. In other words he didn't have the cash and thus was not an investor. I believe he also tried to front up another buy out but that again ran out of steam due to lack of cash. Say what you like about Ted he is not obliged to sell to anyone especially someone who has less to offer than even he does.

There are many things to like about Steve Ferres a guy I got to know a few years ago. However his financial acumen is not high on the list.

That said I would not be the least surprised to see him return in some capacity.

As for Ted it's not greed IMO more vanity and now desperation - not the same thing at all.

lets fact facts - we don't have many! Many on hear spout their rights to hear them but thats just romantic self important nonsence. Morraly its easy to make a case that fans should be told more but in reality business don't work like that. In this vauucum many posters on here have filled the gaps with their conspiracy theories fed by a one time poster and one journo. The facts that we do have make the 'Ted as self serving patriarch' case as well as they do the Ted 'wiley protector of club assets who fell foul of the crash' case. Just because the minority of posters agree with the latter doesn not strengthen the case for the former. There is no doubt his stewardship of the club has failed Im not advocating a statue to TR.

The reality is though we don't know exactly what has happened, why or what motivated it. In the absence of this detail I think some of the talk on here regarding TR is shameful. What happend to innocent till proven guilty?
