| Quote the blind ref="the blind ref"Some of you 'die hard' fans make me laugh. I used to be like that but enough is enough. I am not entertained, I have not been for a long time. I have better and more important things in my life than spending an afternoon watching a poor performance week after week.
Would you lot keep going back to a restaurant that you enjoyed years ago, despite the place falling to pieces, the service being poor, the food being overpriced and the cuts of meat being of poor quality? I wouldn't.
Enjoy spending £20 per game to watch this crap. Until things change i'm not going to, i've done that for far too many seasons

Its good that us die hard fans can bring a bit of laughter into your miserable weekends watching Wakey, as a matter of interest whats so funny about being a die hard fan? oh and btw thanks for supporting the club in the past, I just hope that the club can get things right for you and the other fans what are not coming again, in the not too far off distant future. I just hope the sun shines all the time if you do
As an aside if the restaurant was as bad as you make out the question would be academic as it would have been closed years ago hth

| i agree with the point of view of buying a season ticket. i unfortunately work a lot of fridays and saturday nights, but i thought well good old rugby league i'll get to most if not all sunday games, but last season towards the end, thanks to sky i missed quite a few games because of the change of dates. if sky has changed it again this weekend thats a match i'll miss again because i have to work, and because sky love giving last minte notice people cant change plans such as work etc. Sky has really let me down i feel and maybe lots of other fans. but thats just my view personally.
ps, its not great losing a lot of home games but we need to stand by our team and lets see if we can get this stadium

| We will be there but only because we have season tickets. If not would probably sky this one.
We have stopped away games as the expense is not worth the players effort this year.
We have talked about not renewing next year (3 tickets) and paying on the gate. This has the benefits of us being able to stop going when the players stop playing and taking part in the ticket offers.
There is no worse feeling than walking out feeling ripped off by the effort. If they put the effort in and loose (happened loads in the past) you dont leave happy but you dont feel ripped and on numerous loosing occasions we have stayed behind to clap them off but not this year.
Gutted is the perfect word to describe how loads of fans at Wakey feel right now.

Using a restaurant is a very poor analogy, this is Wakefield Trinity.
Yes, if it was a Wife, I would have filed for divorced years ago. How many false dawns have been cruelly shattered? How many major finals have we watched – jeez, with the exception of the Welsh, every supporter in S.L. has seen more success than us.
The supporters of W.T.R.L.F.C. deserve better, no other club would have such loyal support, having only been to one major final in forty years!
Walk away, try to forget, but you’ll be back, remember it’s your 1st love, before the kids, and the wife. The only time you’ll be totally free, is when you’re six feet under.

Im in exactly the same boat, and that goes for the rest of my family and friends who I go with, (8 in total) including alot of die-hard fans who's been going home and away for 45+years who have stopped away games now and only really go each week due to them being given season tickets as ""presents"" if that stopped then maybe it'd just be big games etc...
I can take not losing like I have alot in the past (we had what 4/5wins? in 1 super league season) but when you know they can do better and there not putting the effort in, you feel demoralised ripped off gutted and so frustrated as what could have been.
Grr not enjoying this season 1 bit.

| With the team/squad we have we expect far more. I would love to know what the real problem is as there must be something deep rooted as something simply does not feel or appear to be at all right IMHO.
JK had the same problem at Hull and look what happened.
Same problem again at Wakey and another potentially good season killed off by another shocking run.
Why? Who knows...

The thing I find funny is how people are willing to continue paying for entertainment that simply isn't entertaining. If it was anything else you would just walk away.
I also find it funny how some fans jump on the defensive as soon as another fan criticises the club.

| If this was a poor side playing poorly I'd stick with them like a magnet hoping we'll turn the corner, like I have since 92' but I feel it's currently a damn good side with bags of experience who can't be ars*d.
I take my hats off to those who pay £20 against Hull FC, I really do. Funny thing is we might win but the week after it'll be back to scoots from dummy half, and it'll get even more gut wrenching for watching the tease!

| I'd like a thorough explanation from the Head Coach as to what is going on and why we can't get any consistency into our performances week in week out?
Stating the obvious in post match interviews re WE WERE AWFUL & WE GOT MULLERED is simply not good enough.
If I went to my boss and told him I was not doing my job right and the people I am managing are useless, most of whom I had taken on surely would be seen by most as somewhat embarrassing...

| So basically you will pay sky £40+ per month on the off chance that Wakefield (Im a KR Fan) are shown and that you might not have to stand in the terrace and watch your team get beat, yet on some of your annaligies the offerings are so poor anyway that you cant be bothered going because they are gonna get beat anyway.
So if Wakey are on Sky once this Month you will pay £40 to watch the one match instead of £36 to be at both home games in that month?
The only person to gain from being sat at home is Sky and as they have already paid out their SL money you might as well watch it at the stadium as at least you are still contributing to the clubs coffers long after the players and coaches are gone!!!
