| Quote Uptoncat="Uptoncat"sorry mate, you're wrong. Last week we put in as much effort but the skill levels and probably confidence were below par. We looked a different side tonight, shame about our right hand side defense though, they cost us the game IMO, amateur at best positional wise'"
Maybe your right mate, but ill give credit where its due your players gave you everything! our defence in the first half ( goal line) was shocking! Leo-Latu reminds me of luaki at FC hes either brilliant or a liability, in the first half he caused us all kinds of problems.

| Deffo tried their hearts out, even ourcweak right sided defense, they tried but made the wrong decisions, trouble is the decisions they made were shocking. Can't knock the effort at all but we need to smarten up on defense. One positive is our right side looked more comfortable defensively as lately we've been weak on both sides

| Mixed feelings.
Very good performance, but for every good thing we do, we do something bad. Latu scores a great try and then on the kick off leaves the forty metre line, and so allows Sinfield to do the short kick which gave them a boost before half-time, which may have affected how they came out for the second half.
Blanch scores some good tries, but seemed to be out of position for three of their tries. On the last Hall try, the one that took them within two points (and the point when I expected the game to be lost), Gleeson had dragged McGuire to the floor. Blanch leaves his wing to help out and McGuire pops it out to Hall, who has a clear run to the line.
JD: made some early errors and then didn't do too much, but the determination in his eyes when he came out for the start of the game showed his value. It isn't always about what you do with the ball.
Maybe the frustration over the loss will spur us on now, particularly with an extra week to regroup.

| Blanch must stay on his wing and not get drawn in. He gets caught in no man's land all too often. He's a good tackler (as proved when he smashed Webb tonight) but is rarely in a good position to effect the tackle. It's just a technical flaw that should be easily ironed out.

| I think the title of this thread totally sums up how I feel tonight. We've had a tricky few weeks but to go out and give the performance we did speaks volumes for the coaching team we have. I wouldn't swap John Kear for anyone else in Rugby League.

| Like most of you I have been down with events both on & off the field; but today
I am PROUD. I want to win but will follow my team when it gives that amount of effort, whatever the result.

I think Blanch is frequently drawn out of position because he simply has not enough faith in Gleeson making the tackle and comes inside to assist. Our wing/centres must trust each other to do their own job.

| agree with the comments about gleeson, at fault for 2 try's. proud of the performance by all, especially the forwards with only 3 sub forwards available.

| I watched the players warm up and feared the worst, they looked slow and half interested, just shows you can never tell with this game.
