More concerning for me was the fact that Millard was on the wing for 90% of the game. I think Millard and George could be a good combination, if used correctly.

You can see that he has potential but he not going to be able to show that it if we take five drives than a kick. I’ve seen him play in the NRL, he is a lot better than what we have seen so far.

It was a simple mix up in cummunication between Beans and JK. He told Beans to put Smurph to FB and JD to right centre with Hendo slotting in for JD, but Beans misheard him and put Millard there instead.

How can Millard show much of anything when the only rugby we are playing is pass from play the ball and drive it in,do this for four or five times and then try to pass the ball along the and by the time it gets to Millard everyone is static so what then either pass to his winger or try to beat his opposition,not much chance when the ball takes an age to get to him.

Surely this is worse than Millard playing their by choice? How long does it take to get the message out to correct things? Given the amount of time the trainer/physio spends on the park this could have been corrected within seconds.....

How many other messages are getting lost in translation or mixed up?

a few!! Think they had a problem with the radio/headsets. JK cant correct the problem if Beans can't hear him......that's why he was shouting

well we had Millard on the wing with George and Murphy in the centres. we had Cooke at LF and he stood out in the centres the whole game. Latu was named at 9 but he seemed to play everywhere but dummy half, i don't think he had a clue what he was doing or supposed to be doing. Sam was supposed to be at 7 but was at dummy half. Tronc was on teh bench but hardly played although Richie Moore frequently looked like he had played himself to exhaustion.

Just looked like a clueless selection in a desperate attempt to shake things up to me.

Millard going to FB just completed the whole match perfectly.

Back to basics.
Bring back Ben. Davey has played as a half back before, so lets see what he can do in a "no pressure" game, if he does well roll with it. We played our best last year when we were on the bones of our ar*e in terms of injuries, IMO we need to go back to basics and put our faith in kids that WANT TO PLAY!!!!
