Personally I would like Cooke at LF, Sammy at 6 with BJ at 7 and Lats and Davey both at hooker.

I Know this means that captain fantastic is not here but I think at the moment he is at best an interchange player even though it pains me not to put him down first on the sheet

Wakefield have had no approach from the RFL for John Kear and would not welcome any such deal. Its fair to say John is a very popular figure at the WTW and to lose John as the Wildcats are enjoying a succesful start to the Engage Super League is pure speculation and unfounded. I understand why John would be linked with such a position because we all know that Johns experience in the game is very hard to find especially even more so the fact that he's English and the RFL announcing there wish to appoint an home grown coach.
John continues to work hard for the Wildcats and all was on display at New Craven Park on Friday evening and with further improvements to made to the Wildcats personnal within the next 3-5 days i can rest assure all Wakefield fans Johns ambitions remain truly to the wildcats.
To my knowing there only 1 job that John would ever possibly leave the Wildcats for and I can assure you its not England but a job within a club that remains close to his heart and the Club he supported as man and boy.
Also may I add Danny Brough has no ambition to leave Wakefield or Wakefield to grant permission to any SL Club, chairman,CEO'S or agents in taking Danny away from the Club. The club are in discussions with Danny about a contact extension and hope to announce good news on the subject with the coming months

Strange if true. Despite the popular opinion on this thread, Ken Davy doesn't throw his money about willy-nilly. And I thought it was Huddersfield policy not to pay transfer fees. Do you think it's possible Wakey are letting him go early to maintain harmony within the squad? There was an interview with Robinson in the press last season where he said that Nathan Brown saw him as a hooker. Perhaps it's DB to 7 and Robinson to interchange with Lunt at 9 in 2011 when Drew goes back to Aus. I have my reservations about Brough but can't deny he's a class player on his day. I guess we'll see if it happens soon enough.

Hard to imagine Huddersfield parting with loads of cash for Brough for a number of reasons, and not just last week's result. Although, as you say, you'll have a class players for it.

Played with kirmond for a few years and would be very suprised if I ever saw him in a Wakefield shirt.
