| Its a pity Carter wasn't the one to do the recent Radio Leeds interview.
Quite a rallying call.
Backs to the wall boys........yet again.

| So, Salford have bought the two most influential players from 2 teams they will probably be fighting it out with next year to avoid relegation.London are just about odds on to be one of the other clubs for the drop, and Cas have been doing their fair share of recruiting.
Next season is gonna be tough, but all these people saying they want refunds on season tickets etc, need to think if they actually want a club in super league or not. Because we need everyone to start pulling together a putting a bit extra in to the clubs pockets. Even if it's just buying an extra bit of merch from the shop, every little helps. Otherwise if we don't generate some profits soon, we might not have a club at all.

| Agree with above two posts.
London if they are still in SL next season look a knocking bet to be the main wooden spoonists.
If we don't want to be in the mix we need to get this club backed to the hilt and the directors also need to be looking for what investment they can to compliment the backing of the supporters.
Other clubs are recruiting and recruiting well, so do we.
It's gonna be right at the bottom next year and anyone who thinks it isn't going to be a struggle is misguided.

| With the statement from he club, Id imagine that there wont be a high profile replacement for Tim Smith and we'll be running with a very inexperienced Bobby goulding Jnr. It looks like Jarrod Sammut is out of favour at bradford, which would be a good replacement...

| Rather have kirmond than smith. Good choice by Carter. Actually looking forward to next season after the statement today seems finally someone with a little sense is running the club.

| Weve lost a scrum half if hes not replaced then its gonna be Goulding/kaye and Wildie, all the fans calling for youth to be given a chance well here we are this is the here and now perhaps the dual reg will have done them the world of good to get some first team experience and a smattering of SL game sto introduce them to the big league, a full pre season now and a couple of games now will be the way forward.
Tim is a loss but no one is bigger than the club after all what do we have young lads for?
The Chairman has but a frank to the point statement out with a rallying call if the fans get behind the club then if over 40000 buy in that money will go into the team.
Its a bit like Dragons Den then your in or your out some on here seem to be out already but I have my ticket and looking forward to next season backing the team. I have to say Tim has not been as good this year yes he can be brilliant on his day but when he's off he's off. Tuson coming in will tighten us up and after all albeit we are not in the 8 we have lost loads of games by a small margin. If its youth next season then bring it on it looks like at the moment no one else is out of the door and lee Smith has committed.
Bring it on are you in or out?

Running the club as a business is certainly a good thing....however, due to the level of finances, Im expecting is to be well run, to be breaking even and maybe even making a small profit......
....... but playing our rugby in the first division and not superleague. It saddens me to say, but I don think the club has a superleague future without a sugar daddy backer.
